Who Does CSFA Support?

The Connecticut State Firefighters Association (CSFA) supports firefighters and their families throughout the state. Visit this website regularly to learn how our non-profit organization helps the families of “the bravest” on a wide range of issues. CSFA also strives to promote education of both Firefighters and communities is issues related to safety from fire and fire prevention.

Connecticut State Representative Linda Gentile (D), 104th House District (Ansonia, Derby)

As a legislator from “The Valley” area, State Representative Gentile has been an advocate for the replacement of the Valley Fire Chiefs Training School. Also, Rep. Gentile continually supports all fire service issues. During the 2013 session she proposed House Bill #5278, which passed and now allows firefighters to use state highways to conduct fundraising boot drives. State Representative Gentile was on the forefront of negotiations with DOT and the DMV until House Bill # 5278 became a law as Public Act #13-93 in the 2013 legislative session.

As a member of the House Minority leadership, State Representative Klarides continually follows and supports legislation that benefits the fire service including the replacement of the Valley Fire Chiefs Fire Training School.
