Who Does CSFA Support?

The Connecticut State Firefighters Association (CSFA) supports firefighters and their families throughout the state. Visit this website regularly to learn how our non-profit organization helps the families of “the bravest” on a wide range of issues. CSFA also strives to promote education of both Firefighters and communities is issues related to safety from fire and fire prevention.

Representative Bob Godfrey (D) 110th House District (Danbury)

Rep. Bob Godfrey
As senior Deputy Speaker, consistently supports Fire Service legislation. Keeps himself informed of issues by contact with Fire Officials in his district. Rep. Godfrey was instrumental in providing the leadership to insure proper language of H.B. #5489 into Public Act # 11-243 in the 2011 legislative session.
Representative Joseph Aresimowicz (D) 30th House District (Berlin, Southington)

Rep. Joe Aresimowicz
Keeps himself well-informed of all Fire Service issues. Rep. Aresimowicz’s district consists of both Career and Volunteer Fire Departments and he support both constituencies. He has been at the forefront of annual evaluations of the Regional Fire School Capital Improvement program. He was also instrumental in assisting with the passage of H.B. #5489 into Public Act #11-243 in the 2011 legislative session.
Representative Fred Camillo (R) 151st House District (Greenwich)

As a member of the minority party, Rep. Camillo brought forth the issue of providing legal indemnification for Volunteer Firefighters, Fire Police Officers, and Volunteer Ambulance Members which became part of H.B. #5489 which became Public Act #11-243 in the 2011 legislative session.
